Welcome

Welcome to one of my new blogs. Instead of throwing everything on IPkills, I have decided to separate the information on multiple blogs. As always, I'm open to any suggestions, comments, and/or stories that you'd like me to share.

About Me
I am 23 (24 on October 21). I am an intractable pain patient, with cancer, on high dose opioids and suffer from a slew of symptoms. I'm under-medicated. On the advise of countless people, including my old therapist, and, after years of nagging, I finally setup a blog (IPkills). In addition to being therapeutic and helpful to myself and others, I've been able to generate some advertising revenue that I hope will amount to enough that I can spread awareness about the epidemic of undertreated pain (both cancer and non-cancer).

My cancer
I have a DIPA/DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Astrocytoma/glioma), it is an inoperable tumor on my brainstem, specifically the Pons. Radiation isn't an option and chemotherapy isn't likely to help and no one is willing to try it without a biopsy, which is extremely risky. It is likely responsible for pain, headaches, nausea, vomiting, wasting, dizziness, neuropathy, and countless other systems.

Steve
Until I setup email addresses and forwarding, I will be using IntractablePainKills@gmail.com for all of my blogs.
